For lengthy recordings, we recommend importing the audio via a USB data cable, as this method is significantly faster than using Bluetooth transfer.
There are two methods to import recordings using a data cable:
- Upload to the Web Platform https://app.recolx.ai/
Step 1. Connect your Recolx device to your computer using the provided charging cable. The green indicator light will flash rapidly once the device is connected to the PC.
Upon connection, the device will be recognized as a USB drive labeled [RECOLX].
Step 2. Navigate to the [RECORD] folder within the RECOLX drive and locate the recording file by its timestamp.
*Note: Only .SBC files (the encrypted recording format used by Recolx) are eligible for upload.
Step 3. Log in to your account on the web platform at https://app.recolx.ai/.
Step 4. Click on [Import Audio] located at the top left corner of the page.
Step 5. Select the SBC file identified in Step 2 and proceed with the upload.
Once the upload is complete, open the mobile application and refresh the home screen by pulling down; your newly uploaded recordings will appear automatically.
Step 6: You may transcribe and summarize the files via the mobile device. Additionally, audio files can be edited directly on the web platform.
- Import Directly to Mobile Phone (USB Connection)
Please note: The adapter included in the package is compatible only with smartphones featuring a Type-C port.
Step 1. Connect your Recolx device to your phone using the data cable.
The device indicator light will flash green, and the device will automatically disconnect from the app if it was previously paired via Bluetooth.
Step 2: Within the app, tap the three dots (···) in the top-right corner of the home page, then select [USB Import].
Step 3. Using your phone’s file manager, locate the RECOLX USB drive and open the [RECORD] folder.
Select the recording file(s) you wish to upload, confirm your selection, and the files will be added to your account.
