1. Why does the device save as .SBC?
The .SBC format is our proprietary encrypted raw data container. It is not a standard media format like MP3 because it serves two vital professional purposes:
Data Security: It ensures that your recordings remain encrypted and protected directly on the hardware. If the device is lost, your private audio cannot be accessed by unauthorized parties.
Lossless Integrity: It acts as a "Master Source" to prevent file corruption or data loss during high-speed recording sessions.
2. How to get your MP3/WAV files (Step-by-Step)
Because the files are encrypted, they cannot be played directly by Windows Media Player or QuickTime. You must "Export" them through our official interface:
Sync to App: Connect your device via Bluetooth and sync the recordings to the App.
Open the File: Select the recording you wish to save.
Tap "Export": Click the Export/Share icon in the top right corner.
Select Format: Choose Audio File (MP3). You can then save it to your phone’s memory, email it to yourself, or upload it to a cloud drive (Google Drive/iCloud).
